The antishrinking agent is mainly used in the wet mortar, because the water in the wet mortar has high surface tension, which will produce stress on the  mortar surface during the evaporation of water. If an antishrinking agent is added in a wet mortar,after the effective components in the antishrinking agent is mixed with water，it can reduce the surface tension and decrease the force acting on the pores , thus reducing the shrinkage.
